About Psychotherapy

The therapeutic process depends on the establishment of a safe, confidential, and collaborative therapeutic relationship. Client and therapist feel and work together in a deep exploration of our internal worlds to make sense of the client’s emotional reactions, thoughts, memories, fantasies, dreams, images, and sensations in an effort to alleviate personal suffering and to expand the capacity for work, love, and creativity.

Together we explore the way we relate to ourselves and others. Lisa’s work is informed by attachment theory and research into attachment bonds and how we develop in the relational system of our family, along with the social milieu in which we grow up, along with our own temperaments.
